stress and ovulation!

Hi! I'm just looking for experience or feedback if anyone has experienced an acutely stressful event during ovulation, and still conceived. I was ovulating this past  weekend and me and the hubs had sex on the appropriate days, however my cat died suddenly (if you don't have a cat and it sounds crazy, don't judge!). I spent a good 72 hours worrying and crying... feeling much better the last few days but my bbt was all over the place... I've read conflicitng reports regarding stress impacting ovulation, but I'd rather hear some anecdotal stories!
