Any advice on the injection? :)

Question

In nine months I need to either get a new implant or choose a knew contraceptive. I was thinking about getting the injection, can anyone recommend or warn me? TIA :) x

If the implant is working for you I'd suggest just sticking with it. You can change your mind later down the road. From what I've seen the Depo shot is the harshest on your body compared to other BC so I wouldn't suggest it. But do your own research on it too and your other options and see where that leads you.

Personally I think the implant is better, once it's in you just forget about it for 3 years, you have to keep going back for top ups with the injection  and everyone I know who has had it (incuding myself) has gained weight from it, where as the implant has never affected my weight (but I'm not saying that it's the same for everyone)
