Iud or tubes tied

I just had my third kid i feel like im done having children but my husband is unsure how he feels. We talked about getting my tubes tied or getting an iud. I went to my postp check up my dr talked me into getting the 10year iud. Im scared about having something in my body that long. What problems can occur? Im so confused
