Last night four young people were in a car crash in our small town. Three of them died. Apparently they were coming home from a bar where I've also been many times with my husband & friends and where my husband still goes quite often even though I'm pregnant now and don't go out much. They were driving too fast on the icy road. My father-in-law called us early in the morning to make sure that it wasn't us.

I'm so shocked, it could've been my husband in that car, or one of our friends. I feel so lucky to be here at home with him. He's already been in one serious car accident, and I'm always worried of something bad happening when he goes out. Please people, drive safe! Only one mistake and you can lose everything. The family and friends of three people had to receive the worst news this morning. I don't know how anyone can continue living after being told that their child is gone.
