Quick question!

Ok, I know this is a stupid question but I've always wondered.. Let's say it's last night (December 31st) and you get home at 1 am and you BD, when you enter it into glow or another app, do you you put that you BD on December 31st or January 1st? Lol I know it's technically January 1st because it was 1 am but then technically it was still the same night!
