Water breaks in bathtub?

I wanna soak in a bath cause I'm sore and don't feel good. But I'm also worried what if my water breaks while in there? Will I be able to tell? Has that happened to anyone or is it a stupid lil fear I have?

Before I had my miscarriage last year I took a shower and my water waited until I was out of the shower to actually break. I believed you'll be fine. I've taken a bath at least 3 times a week my whole pregnancy and I'm 40+4.

I just took my first bath while pregnant last week. It was amazing!!! I googled and as long as the water isn't cooking hot its fine. Plus you will be able to tell your water will be a different temperature than bath water

I think you'll be fine. You won't be in there long enough to worry about it. As long as it's not broken before.

My water broke in the bath with baby #2!

I felt it and knew 100% what it was. It was a noticeable "gush." (Although, when I got to the hospital I did have to convince a few skeptics that I was really in labor. Evidently they get a lot of women who *think* their water broke in the bath, so when they checked me and I was already well dialated, they apologized for doubting me!)

I've heard of women feeling a 'pop' when their water breaks .. I was in full labor and under an epidural when mine broke so idk what exactly it feels like lol
