Copper IUD?
About a year ago, due to an injury I had a PE (pulmonary embolism) and had to stop taking the pill.
My dr has recommended trying the copper IUD because it doesn't have the hormones that can cause blood clots.
Has anyone on here been on, or are you on it? Does it work? Have you had any side effects or problems with it?
I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks!
