paranoid about birth??

Question

I'm 14 and I'm 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I'm so worried about giving birth. I'll be doing it vaginally as long as baby isn't breech, and I'm so worried about it. Can you really die when you give birth? Can your uterus turn inside out if the placenta isn't completely detached? I'm really nervous about this.

It's totally normal to be nervous. I just like to remember that before "modern medicine" women gave birth in their homes with just hot water and a pair of scissors. If you're giving birth in a hospital or even a birthing center, you will have somewhere there who will know exactly what to do if something goes wrong. But chances are, none of those scary things will happen during your delivery. Good luck to you! You've got this!!

It is very highly unlikely anything bad will happen. I know all of the what if's can be scary but your doctor would know if anything bad was going down. Just relax and know that soon you will meet your precious baby and there will be plenty of people around to take care of you 😊.

Fear is a very normal feeling , but you have done the hardest part , growing this child . Speak to your ob or midwife and I'm sure they will help calm your nerves . Our bodies are amazing and you can do this Mumma :)

Im 19 and had my baby boy three weeks ago. Hope you get epidural because I didnt feel a thing. The contractions I swear were the worst pain ive ever had.

its normal to be nervous ... i just gave birth 3 weeks ago .. i was so scared .. but i did it all natural no medication ... just dont be worried or scared you will be okay ...

Really hope you can see that... ❤💖 images tend to show up bad for me 😂 But anyways, You will be okay, take it easy...it's okay that you're scared, I'm only 18weeks+1 along and I tell myself every day that I'm not scared but deep down I do think about what could go wrong. 😅😂 It's totally normal, just know that there will be people to support you.

Medicine is so advanced now days that doctors are prepared for almost anything! You will be in the majority of healthy births, just keep that in mind. You will have medical professionals with you all the time and dying from child birth is super rare.
