Controlling acne while TTC?

I've had cystic acne for years and was on 3 6-month therapies of Accutane which made my joints sore as hell and I'm only clear for about 3 mos then the cystic acne comes back again. Was placed on BC to somewhat regulate it and now that I'm off BC for 5 mos, my face is a MESS. My acne is way worse to the point that I have it up to my hairline, my back, neck and chest. It definitely takes a shot to my confidence. I've not changed any cleanser as well as moisturizers. Anybody in the same boat? Tips?

Alot alot of water! Water does alot more than people think. It flushes all the bad things out of your body

Ceraphil Dermacontrol wash is good for acne. It's over the counter and is not too drying. A topical prescription antibiotic like clindamycin and erythromycin are safe to use while TTC and while pregnant.

Hi ladies! I've been suffering from acne too for years! I'm almost 31 now. Been through pills (roaccutane too) and creams and facials once a month. Still nothing. Vitex is supposed to support the Lh phase of yr cycle, help pms/pmt, and treat acne! It's a supplement found at the health store. I started using it 4 days ago and my period pain is manageable without pain relief this month. I'm also taking magnesium at night for cramps, which helps me sleep too. My GP knows I'm ttc and has prescribed me crystacide/crystaderm for topical acne treatment. I imagine its available in other countries, as New Zealand usually wait til it's been tested on everyone else before we'll approve it!

No as long as it's pharmaceutical grade Tea Tree oil. Only look for it in the vitamin section; there are a lot of products out there that advertise having tea tree oil in them but trust me they are not the same thing.  It usually comes in a small brown glass bottle. I apply mine at night, let it soak in and then put coconut oil on my face. I use the organic extra virgin coconut oil I cook with, I just scoop some out and transfer it to a little jar. 
Tea Tree oil is an essential oil so be prepared for the smell, also I only use a little but and apply it to each area I start to see a breakout. As for the coconut oil, I only use a little bit. Coconut oil is naturally anti fungal and anti bacterial as well as hydrating. 
I'm sure you can do a quick internet search and learn all the benefits of both. It's the only thing that has worked for me. I still get acne but I am able to control how bad it gets with this.

Try Tea Tree oil- it smells horrible but it works for me. It must be pharmaceutical grade tea tree oil to work- you can usually find it in the vitamin section at most pharmacies. The stuff should smell awful but absorb pretty quickly into your skin. It might also burn a little as well. It's helped me out a lot and doesn't damage my skin. I also use coconut oil as a face moisturizer and I think that helps as well too.  Tea tree oil cost about $12 and I apply it with a q-tip. I wish I had found out about tea tree oil much sooner instead of try different drugs and chemicals.
