Itchy

Had my baby boy three weeks ago and I had a vaginal birth and had to get stitches. I'm no longer in pain but I'm do itchy down there and it's driving me crazy. All I want to do is itch and I'm scared I'll do something stupid and hurt myself. I can't get comfy to sleep ( that's when I even get the chance to sleep) can anyone help ? What can I do for it to stop itching?
