husband too scared to get vasectomy? 😞

I don't want to go on birth control again too many side effects. I also don't want to get my tubes tied and get scars and such. Hubby refuses to get a vasectomy because he's too scared. Not sure what to do! Does anyone know what the scars look like after getting tubes tied? 😞

I would no way get my tubes tied! You need a general anaesthetic whereas the man is only a local anaesthetic and can be done in a simple procedure usually at a Dr's minor surgery clinic. It's two tiny cuts one in each testicle. I've told my fiancé it's only fair that he gets it because I've pushed 3 humans out of my vagina lol

I had my third baby earlier this year and had my tubes tied at 6 weeks PP. My husband is also scared of a vasectomy and I knew it would take him years to get one. He was also away for work for 6 months. He left when my LO was 2 weeks old. I scheduled the tubal. We both knew we were done. They do the surgery laparoscopicly. One incision in the belly button so it's barely visible. One tiny half inch incision on my side, and one at my bikini line. That's it. The surgery itself was no big deal. recovery sucked not because of the incision pain, but because of the gas they pump into your abdomen to see better for laparoscopic surgery. It took a week before that was gone and that was the worst. I have to say though, carefree sex without consequences was worth that to me. I haven't been on birth control in 9 years and I'm damn tired of tracking my cycles and checking my cervix etc... me and birth control don't like each other and I wasn't waiting any more.

My friend just found out she's pregnant a year after her husband got his vasectomy. He was given the good to go from his doctor top. They went for their first prenatal appointment and were told it happens more than you would think. I never would have thought!

I will get mine tied scars dont bother me anymore thanks to hubby telling me my stretch marks are my strips of life plus we get pregnant every time on birth control and its simple for me to do it not having to take off work since im a sahm this is pur rainbow baby hopefully 1 more after this one but im totally blessed with just one lol
