Possible side effects after IUI

I had my IUI done back to back on 10/31 & 11/1. Last night during intercourse (my doctor said it was fine to resume) I was uncomfortable during and afterwards I felt a warm uncomfortable sensation... almost like we had gone at it all night long with no lube.... anyone else have this happen? Waiting for the nurse to call with today's blood work results so I can ask her.
