Anyone else heard of this?

Went in for my ultrasound yesterday. Tech found 2 heartbeats. This will be baby#5 & #6. Weird thing is baby A measured right on track for age. And baby B measured a couple weeks behind. Tech said it looks like I ovulated when I was already pregnant. I looked it up. It's called superfetation.  Anyone else heard of this or had something similar happen. I have another appt for a more detailed ultrasound soon to get more info.

I have heard of it. It is relatively extremely rare. Very cool. It means your bodies progestrone and mechanisms didnt kick in fast enough and your body didnt figure you were pregnant so you ovulated again and were lucky enough to get pregnant with that egg as well. Hence 2 babies who technically arent twins
