blighted ovum
I went into the ER October 27th because I had brown spotting (didn't know was normal), they thought it was ectopic- so I scheduled an appointment and saw my OB the next day (October 28th), IT WAS NOT AN ECTOPIC, because sac was exactly where it was supposed to be. My gestational sac on the 28th was measuring 5 weeks 1 day, and they didn't see anything inside the sac. They scheduled me another appointment for Friday, November the 4th which was exactly a week later. They told me there was still only a gestational sac, and no yolk sac and no baby and that I was measuring 5 weeks 5 days. They rescheduled me again for today, Tuesday the 8th and during the ultrasound they said that my gestational sac was measuring 1 cm, and there still wasn't a yolk sac, or a baby. They told me that they think it is a blighted ovum, and started taking blood work today to see what my hcg levels were. I go back in Thursday for them to recheck my levels. I was wondering if anyone has expierenced something similar. I think today they said I measured 6 week and 3 days. I just need advice, opinions, reassurance, or your expierenced.
