Have to kick count or can you just make sure your baby is moving each day?

I don't kick count. I know when my baby moves and what makes it move. If I listened to kick counting I'd have a panic attack when my baby doesn't move throughout the day from 11am to 6pm. He always moves after breakfast and when I'm relaxing at the end of the day.

37 weeks and I've never counted kicks. I don't really need to though. She beats the hell out of me all day every day 😂

I don't. Babies have lazy days so really it's just more stressful to me. Plus I'd always lose count. I know what's normal and what isn't for my girl so as long is she is relatively active the same amount every day I don't worry

I don't keep track of kick counts, just make sure he's moving. Although some days he's not as active as others. When in doubt drink something cold & sweet then lay down for a bit.

34 weeks here, never done a kick count. I just make sure I've felt him move during the times that he tends to be most active.

My doctor said to start at 28 weeks. It doesn't take much time and there are apps that help you do it.

I would... and I plan to.  Some mommas have had difficulties with their baby going into distress and kick counting has kept them from 1.) dismissing their own fears or 2.) being bullied by a doctor who can't be bothered by "pregnant woman worries"
