It was great when I had it in and very effective. When getting it out please wait at least one cycle before TTC to give your body time to adjust (risk of MC).

I liked it a lot but when I had to get it taken out my muscle grew over it and that was the painful part..

Had it but was not for me i start gaining weight a lot in five months i have gain 20 pounds, so i remove it.

I had nexplanon. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. You SHOULD expect some breakthrough bleeding.but that weighed against never having to worry about a pill or the nuvaring falling out in the toilet (been there) , I'd take the spotting any day. Insertion is easy. Removal is painless because you'll be numbed but they will need to make a tiny incision so if that bothers you, keep it in mind.
