Hair Tension

Does anyone elses hair and scalp start to hurt when you've had it pinned up or pulled back for longer than an hour or so? And I'm not even talking pulled back tightly. I just really loosely pinn up my hair so it stays away from my face but after an hour or two my scalp will start to ache. If I wear a little headband the pain comes on much quicker and worse. I never though I had a delicate scalp because people can tug, pull, and scratch my hair and head and it doesn't hurt, but just a little nobody pin will always it hurt. Anybody else experience this?
