What's a "safe" time to announce your pregnancy to friends. I have my first Dr. Appointment at 8 weeks in December. I'm assuming after my appointment is too soon?

Most MCs occur early, so you're probably fairly safe after 8w-- even safer after 12w. But of course it's never 100% safe.

There's really no "safe" time. Anything could happen at any point in the pregnancy. I told people as soon as I got my first positive. Hadn't even had my first appointment yet. I was probably only 5/6 weeks.

With my other three we told pretty much as soon as we found out. We were pregnant in April/may and it was slipped that we were and found out shortly after we lost the baby. Pregnant again and still haven't told others and we're now 15 weeks. We're announcing thanksgiving.
