What do you and your family use to throw up in when sick

My husband said it's so normal to throw up in a bowl. Like if you can't make it toilet and you have something next to you. What would you rather have?

If you're stuck in the bed and feel too bad to run to the bathroom, use a freezer size ziplock bag. Zip it up and toss it after. Easy peasy. Good trick for kids too, and keep some in the car for a quick and easy grab and clean up. And ewwwwww no way would I ever use a bowl!!! It's not 1900 🙊😷

I'm a nurse and never even give those ridiculous bowls to my patients. I've seen so many people wretch and it shoot out the side, sometimes it hitting the floor or them and just making them heave worse. I always go for the trash can. When I'm done it gets washed with disinfectant.

If I can't make it to the bathroom I've hit the floor rather than running and vomiting. I think if you can hit the bowl/trash can it's fine as long as you disinfect it afterwards.
