baby food at 4 mo?

At my last visit with my sons pediatrician she said I can start giving him baby food at 4 months if I want to. Things like mashed up fruit etc. are any of you going to start giving baby food at 4 months? Or are you waiting till 6 months? My baby is formula fed only and I'm thinking I might start at 4 months..

My son turns 4 months on the 29. He's been eating mashed bananas with formula for 3 days now. I plan to introduce squash in the next few days. We were going to wait until 4-6 months but he has horrible acid reflux and never seems full so our pediatrician told us to introduce stage 1 baby foods. So far so good and no digestive issues yet.

My son is ebf and I don't intend on introducing baby food until after he is a months old.my plan is to ebf to 8 months and then take it month by month from there.hoping to make it a year with him being an ebf baby.some ppl have done it and had very healthy babies.hoping for the same.so far he shows no signs of not being unsatisfied by my milk.so until he shows those signs I'm gonna ebf.

My baby started a little bit of cereal in bottle for breakfast and dinner at 2m and so far started Wednesday she started the spoon but I have only done it twice when she turn 3 months I'll start doing spoon in the morning and night. Then between 4-6 months I'll start fruits and veggies

My son is 3mos and formula fed. My Dr said that I can gradually start giving him solid food. So 4mos- cereals, 5mos-veggies and 6mos-fruit. He recommended starting veggies before fruit so that baby doesn't get a taste for sweet and then ends up refusing veggies.
