Childcare with working parents?

Question

I haven't successfully conceived yet--but I'm a planner and this has been on my mind. In families where both parents work (my husband and I are teachers) what do you do with your kids during the day?

The most realistic option for us is daycare (though the thought of leaving a newborn baby there scares me a bit), because we don't have a lot of family that's local...

What do you ladies do? (Or plan to do?)

I love our daycare husband drops off and goes in later around 8ish I go in super early and pick up at 2:30

Were doing an in home day care. Luckily, I have a family member who will be a Nanny for us 3 days a week but the other two days he will be going to a day care ran out of someone's home. This way he is one of a few kids, not 20+. As an infant in a traditional daycare (like kindercare) they just leave the babies in pack and plays and they really aren't interacted with unless they are crying. Day cares are just too busy to give an infant all the attention it needs. In at home, the provider has much more time to hold and play with the baby. Plus with less kids, there are less chances for the baby to come in contact with illnesses

So I will be staying home with my child because I don't trust daycares now but I also babysit a 4 month old baby to make money so I became the babysitter while I'm not working

My sons always been in daycare and I wouldn't have it any other way he has learned so much he was ready for kindergarten he was used to being away from us and being with teachers and other kids it was the best choice I could have ever made
