20 week ultrasound?

I'm having my 20week ultrasound Dr told me I should find out the gender of the baby .. fingers cross! Question Should I have a full Blatter? What help so the baby can be seen or move around a lot? ... Should I ask my Dr?

I was told no need for full bladder at my next ultrasound  (at almost 20 weeks)

My doctor told me to drink orange juice before and I did and my daughter was moving around like crazy! It was amazing!! I wouldn't recommend a full bladder they only say to do that when your baby is super small... cause a full bladder will push your uterus up and make the baby more visible.... but since your already 20 weeks your baby is prettty big! Good luck!

I was told to have a full bladder for the first part of the ultrasound. It makes your cervix more clear which they take a bunch of pictures of. She said if my bladder wasn't full enough they would have to do a transvaginal scan to see the cervix
