Pregnant but not?

Question

I took 2 clearblue pregnancy tests about a week ago, both were very positive.  Went to the Dr and had it confirmed.  2 days ago I woke up bleeding, I went to the ER and the Dr had blood work done blood test was positive for pregnancy.  She also did a urine test.  The urine test was negative.  She said the blood is just my period, but my blood test was positive for pregnancy.  My friends mom said maybe I had a miscarriage and the hormones weren't coming up in my urine anymore but they were still high enough in my blood for the blood results?  I'm not cramping anymore and I'm bleeding on and off now.  What do you guys think?

Weird, when you did the blood work did you get the results? And if you did were your pregnancy hormone levels on it? I'm asking because when I miscarried I had to go back to the hospital every week for blood work and every week you could see the hormone levels dropping. If you do have yours and you see the numbers going down then I'd say you might be miscarrying if they're going up still then I'd ask for either another blood test or an ultrasound. Although, if you have miscarried they still should have done an ultrasound on you. Smh.

Hcg leaves blood first, then urine, so there must have been something up with that urine test!

That's interesting! Because they should of done an ultrasound at the hospital to see what's going on. That's what they did with me last week when I had a miscarriage. They did a blood test to confirm my pregnancy and an ultrasound to see what's going on.. I think you should go to your doctor ASAP though

I'd be making plans to go to the dr and get an ultrasound for confirmation of what's going on.
