sleep walking

So my fiancé has an 8 year old daughter who lives with us the past 7 years (her mother is an addict) but anyways last she was in bed and a couple hours pass and I hear footsteps coming. She opens our bedroom door and starts talking but I couldn't understand what she was saying. Then she went to the bathroom and right back to bed. Anyone else have this happen?! It was like she was possessed. She used to have really bad night terrors luckily she wasn't screaming or crying.
