aspirin?

I'm 15 weeks my widwife said I need to contact my GP to get Aspin. I googled what it's used for I can't understand why I need it? Did this happen to anyone else or does anyone know why this may be?

Yes I have aspirin every morning my reason is because my bmi is a little higher and I've had previous miscarriage it's to prevent your blood from clotting it's nothing to worry about xxx

I take aspirin to prevent high blood pressure because I had on my first pregnancy

I am on baby aspirin also. I have to take it due to what's called factor V Leiden mutation. It's a clotting disorder they found out I had during pregnancy. So the baby aspirin just helps thin my blood and prevents me from clotting during labor!

You must of had a low pap a.  That's what I had and was told to take it.  It'll help improve blood flow through the placenta.  They found it in my nt blood work and told me at 20 weeks to start.
