*gross warning** tmi

I'm 38 weeks pregnant today and keep smelling this period blood type smell ...what could this be?..I've had no spotting..have had irregular contractions off an on nothing serious..believe I lost part of my mucus plug a couple days ago...also have not had nausea with my last two or this pregnancy past three days been rnauseated
