"SNACKER" Breastfeeder, any tips?

I am lucky if i can get this kid to stay latched for 5 min at a time! Which makes feed and sleep time a little more frequent than I would like at night.  He gets so milk drunk, so quick, falls away from the boob and falls asleep, but then 5-10 min later he is up and ready for more...

Mine did this too, for probably close to a month, I would try to keep her latched as long as possible, even if she was asleep but still sucking, also, you can strip them down a little to wake them up a bit more. I can't remember what all I did but I definitely tried to keep her awake for as long as possible whole feeding.

My 2nd did this (using me as a pacifier really) & ended up not gaining much weight first week. Her dr told me to make her wait to eat. Hold out as long as u can. I tried to soothe her other ways & never could hold out on her lol. But apparently the extra little cry she had before me caving helped her gain lbs

I keep waking mine up when he falls asleep while breastfeeding. I just nudge him over and over for a while. Maybe that will help a bit?

SNAP! He's a fantastic combination of always hungry & always sleepy / lazy 🙄. Good job we think they're so perfect hey! I did read that 5-10 minutes can be normal for some babies - I'm hoping that over the next few days feeds will get longer maybe as my milk changes? No tips though, sorry!
