Am I being silly ?

We both really love the name Micah my only hold back is my first love and big heart break was named Michael, I understand they are 2 separate names but they still remind me of each other . But is it really just pregnancy brain over thinking things ? I feel like once little Micah is here it would totally be it's own name to me and not remind me of Michael, who I am not on bad terms with anyway. Should I just go for it ? It'd the only name we both love. Just wanted to check if these are reasonable thoughts or I'm just tripping I don't even know anymore...

I don't think you're being crazy.. I've been the same way with names. A family name on my husbands side is Beckham, and if the baby was a boy, he and his whole family loved it. Howeverrr, my first intimate relationship (nearly ten years ago, high school sweetheart) his last name was Beck and that's what everyone called him when we were in high school. So I couldn't do Beckham. I didn't tell my husband or anyone else the reasoning, I just had to keep saying I didn't like it 😂 thankfully we're having a girl!

That was actually the name I had picked out for my son too. However, my old boss who is also my boyfriend's cousin decided it would be a good idea to freak out about me being pregnant and make my life hell. His name was Michael. I immediately changed my son's name. I'm a little sad but I just couldn't do it. 
However, if you are on good terms and think you'll be okay with it - I say go for it.
