witching hour

I know the lactation sources say to continue to breastfeed during their witching hour phase, but realistically when your LO is screaming like they're starving and the kicking and screaming it's a lot to take, especially when I'm going back to work. How long does this phase last bc it's been weeks for me and sitting here clusterfeeding a screaming baby seems really unproductive for the both of us?
