I need some advice please! My parents live about 10 minutes from me and my husband. His family live 2 hours south of us. We see his mom and dad every other month or so if not more. When he wants to visit I am very willing and happy to spend time with them. I truly do like his parents! But it seems like when MY mom is around or we go to do something with my family he acts like he doesn't want to. Tomorrow for instance, my parents have an open phone line so they asked my husband if he wanted to get a new phone since right now he has a Walmart track phone. We would be paying the same amount but he would get a smart phone like me (he never cared too much about technology so he always liked his cheap phone). So tomorrow my dad was going to go with my husband to the mall to get the new phone and then my parents wanted to spend sometime with our 5 year old son after. But he started to complain because he needed to get right home and sleep (he works nights). I just felt kind of annoyed because my parents are doing this nice thing for us so to stay for an extra half n hour shouldn't be a big issue. I am probably over reacting but it just hurts my feelings to know that he doesn't really care too much for my parents. I obviously love them and think they're great so it sucks!😩
