I'm a ftm, 38W6D along. I've had Braxton hicks very seldomly and with no real discomfort the past couple weeks. The night before last I had a good amount of back discomfort in my on and off sleep and through out the day very mildly and pretty much subsided in the late afternoon. I began feeling slight contractions in my belly with lower back pain around 230am last night, so I took a bath and then went to bed. For literally a half hour (arpund 300am) I felt an incredible amount of contractions in my belly, accompanied by a large amount of on and off pressure/pain in my lower back. It even spread from my lower back around my whole abdominal area. Like I said, for that half hour it seemed to be so often that I was contracting (or at least it felt like I was)... I didn't time any of it. After that half hour my contractions in my belly have been more.spread out and my.back pain has been pretty.much the same. I went to the bathroom about an hour ago and there was a tiny line of pink blood on the toilet paper. I keep feeling lightening like pain in my cooch as well, which I have felt numerous times before. I'm not in a severe amount of pain, so I don't want to go to the hospital, but does any of this sound like baby is coming td/tm (that I'm in labor )? Btw my last appt on Friday I was 1cm dilated, 50% effaced and her head was super low.
