When have you put your babies in the seat of a cart?

My son is 6 months old but still only a supported sitter.... he's tall and skinny so he doesn't have a belly to lean on either lol. I just wanted to know when you put your baby in the seat of a cart? We're they supported sitters or sitting up on their own? I have one of those covers which may help. Just having a hard time grocery shopping with his car seat in the cart or using his stroller. He is not a fan of baby carriers at all or else I would use that for sure! Thanks ❤❤

My daughter started sitting at 5 months. And she loves being In the cart. I really like the smaller shopping carts because she can easily hold onto the plastic rail. Coscos carts are huge and slant back, she didn't like it.

We use a shopping cart hammock from binxybaby.com She will probably be growing out of it soon but it's been amazing and so much better than having to use a separate cart to put her car seat in!

We used a car seat cover and it kept him up enough even though he could sit up on his own.

We started at 5months. She loves being in the cart!!!!! Just use the straps!

My son can sit unsupported but slants in carts.

Ended up trying with and without the cart cover.  He actually likes it better without the cover better

My husband just put him in the cart the other day and he's almost 6 months he's a supported sitter, cart straps work well

i always put my little man in carts.. he mostly sits up independently now (still falls over sometimes & cant get back up). But he's been sitting in carts for a while now, even when he could only sit for less than a minute at a time independently.

I gave up carrying that heavy car seat around as soon as he could sit up. The carts also have straps so the baby won't move. I strapped him in after this picture 😂

I use the summer cover with the infant positioner. It worked great cause my daughter likes to lean otherwise. I also found that the positioner works well in high chairs at restaurants too to keep her in since she's too small and needs a little support still. But she loves sitting up and looking at everything.
