how many pads per day?

I'm new to having a period and I went through 2 pads today at school. Is this normal, to much or to little? Since it's just recently been happening should I be prepared to bring more?

It sounds normal to me! I always have tampons/ pads/liners on me at all times and even when I was in school I kept a little stash in my pack, purse and locker because you never know since it'll be kind of irregular for a couple of years

It all depends on your flow. You should never leave any feminine product past 8 hours. But if you have a light flow you don't have to change it. And if you have a really heavy flow when it starts to become full or is uncomfortable I usually change it. It's all on flow

It's totally normal! I keep a supply of pads and tampons in my backpack just in case. Two pads is perfectly normal. I'd say your flow is probably light to moderate. And don't worry if you need more pads sometimes. Each flow is different. It takes time to learn what to expect from your period.
