I'm almost 30 weeks, will I have another US scan?

Will I have another ultrasound scan at my doctors or will I not be able to see my baby girl until she is born? Ive seen many people post about growth scans, wondering if this was normal?

Normally you do not have any of u/s, unless you are high risk

My Fiancé asked my doctor about future scans and she basically found an excuse for me to get one lol she ordered it saying that the baby might be a little bigger than she should be gestationally just so we could get another scan to see her at my next appointment in two weeks :) really love my doctors!! Lol

Depends on your doctor. I had one at 37 weeks but don't get all that excited. They are basically completely grown at that point, so you actually can't see much detail at all. It's easier when they are smaller. And my girl was already head down and facing my back so all we saw was the back of her head, her butt, and did get it confirmed that she was still a girl since my anatomy scan.

I think it depends on your doctor and what insurance pays for maybe? My last scan was the 20 week anatomy scan then I didn't see my son til he was born! I had my first at 9 weeks cuz they thought I was 12 then another at 12 for the scan that they check for Down syndrome and whatnot then 20 weeks it was pretty cool to see how much baby grows and changes!! Oh and one scan bout 14 weeks at a private place to find out the sex early lol good luck and congrats!!!

My OB does one at 36 weeks. Not sure about your OB

Growth scans happen at 34-36 weeks so you should have one more before you have your little one :)
