Diva cups/Menstrual cups?

Question

I've done some research on store bought tampons and how unhealthy they are for your body, so I've considered the diva cup, but I'm a bit skeptical. I like tampons, but organic ones are double the price so the diva cup seems to be the only healthier alternative for me. Any ladies who use a menstrual cup? What do you think? Do you recommend? Pros? Cons?

It's AMAZING!!! 
Pros: 
-can leave it in longer than a tampon (about 10-12 hrs at max)
-if inserted correctly it won't leak
-better for your body and the environment
-cheaper in the long run
-I could always feels tampons and they were uncomfortable for me but you honestly can't feel a thing with the diva cup 
-if taken care of correctly it will last you years 
-it's pretty imformative on your cycle. If that makes sense? Like you get to physically see the difference in colours, textures, clots etc that you wouldn't normally get to see with a tampon or even a pad

Cons:
-it can be a lil uncomfortable when you take it out
-it's kinda gross the first few times 
-it takes a cycle or two to really get the hang of it

I love my diva cup. I will never go back to tampons. It's worth it. It does take some getting used to

I got a diva cup...sometimes it leaks a little when I'm heavy...but other than that my periods are shorter...less cramping....over all I like it.  Esp when I can wear it for 8 hours and just hop in the shower to change it.

Like you, i had questions initially, but decided to order one. I tell you no lies, I'll never buy another tampon...wish i had found out about these from my teen years. Once inserted correctly, they work perfectly and are much less messy than a pad or tampon. 100% recommended.
