Traveling during holidays at 37 weeks
Just wanted to get some thoughts on this, because the holidays are coming up. I'm due 1/16/17, which puts me at about 37 weeks on Christmas. My husband's family usually has dinner on Christmas eve, and my family usually does something on Christmas Day so we've been able to split up the holiday pretty well so far. However, his family lives over an hour away in an area north of us which can get bad conditions in the winter. I don't really feel comfortable going over an hour away on Christmas eve, just in case I got into labor early or there are bad road conditions (plus being in the car for over an hour at 37 weeks is just bleh). Do you think I'm being reasonable if I say that maybe we should skip his family this year for Christmas, just to be safe?
