My husband and I have been together for over 11 years. We have been trying for a baby since August of 2015. I was on birth control for 10 years prior to trying and once coming off I had very irregular periods. Many doctors later, they said I had PCOS and started me on metformin of April of this year. I found out at that time I had complex cysts on my ovary. After the metformin not making me have a regular period, my doctor upped the dosage in July and my periods became regular and my second ultrasound showed the complex cyst went away, but I had a simple one on my other ovary instead, but I wasn't to worry about that one. My last 5 periods had been 27 days. I took my last dose of Clomid this past month, and forced my husband to not go out of town for work (he travels a ton) and he wasn't feeling good, so we didn't have sex as much as I thought we should to get pregnant haha, but I guess it worked!! I tested on day 28 when my period didn't come, since it has been regular lately. It was just a faint line on day 28 and then today on day 29 it was more prominent. We were going to see a fertility specialist within the next two months or so, cause I never ever, thought it was going to happen on is own and neither did my obgyn at this point. This all still doesn't feel real !!
