hybrid last name
My SO and I have different last names. We are toying with the idea of giving baby a hybrid last name.
If we give baby one of the other of our last names it will likely be his, just because he has stronger attachment to passing on all (or part) of his last name... So, either way I'm going to have a diffeent last name than my child.
Can anyone offer insights on this idea????
We've ruled out hyphenating since our names are both long.
Mines Irish and his is Hispanic.
