overweight ???

Hello , 
I'm 18 years old ..6 weeks pregnant ..  my height is 5'3 and I'm 142 pounds .. the doctor told me I'm a bit too big for me height .. do youu agreee ???

I'm 5'5 and got pregnant at 350 and 325 pounds. Never once had my doctors said anything to me about my weight. Looks like you need a new doctor

That's a BMI of 25.1
The only reason he may have said that is because "overweight" BMI is 25-29.9, but you're so close to the minimum that it was ridiculous for him to even bring it up! 0.2 lower, and you're considered healthy weight. 
Most doctors believe that BMI standards are junk because they really are! I would look for a different doctor. He had no reason to bring it up. My BMI is 25.7 and my doctor said my weight is right where I should be for this part of pregnancy.

I am 5'4 and was 160lbs when I got pregnant but if you didn't know my weight you would of thought I wasn't that who cares as long as you're healthy

I 5'4 and weight 150 as of 11 weeks. You're fine. Just make sure you're eating as well as you can for how you feel and try to add in some walks when you feel up to it. I know it's waaay easier said than done at this point in pregnancy but good luck!!

Im 1 inch taller than you and your 10 pounds more than me so that isn't much. Your doctor shouldn't be saying anything about your weight. Your doing pretty good if you ask me. It's alright, as long as your baby is healthy ignore comments like that😇

girl I'm 19years old  4'10" and was about 135-140 lbs due to my birth control, my doctor advised me to lose a little weight and I had managed to do so till I discovered i was already 1month into a pregnancy. since then I had to stop dieting and excessive exercise as advised and I've gone up to 148-150lbs (it fluctuates with water intake) I'm 20 weeks pregnant I keep thinking I'm 100% unhealthy but not once has my ob expressed an issue with my weight or anything. so you are fine!

That's not overweight my doctor told me I'm 5'4" and I should be around 150 it would be healthy for my age and height that was 3 years ago, I was 23 now 26
