False negatives?

My boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant over the last couple of months. Every time I take a test and it comes up negative, I get really down. Does anyone have stories that could lift me back up?

It took me 4 years and 2 miscarriages to get my sticky miracle.  It can take a perfectly healthy couple up to a year.  
I know it's hard but stop testing unless you actually miss your period (I never wanted to see a negative test - one heartbreak a month with the arrival of aunt flow was more than enough for me)
Live your life normally and try to have fun with it as best you can.

I don't know if there's really such a thing as a 'false negative' - if it's negative it means there's not enough pregnancy hormone (if any) for the test to detect.  So yes you could be pregnant but too early to test - when is your period due?

It took us 7 months to get pregnant. I know it's the last thing you want to hear but it should be some consolation that it's completely normal to not get pregnant quickly. Believe me, I know how absolutely devastating it is every single month when you don't get that positive. Just hang tight and try to relax. I truly believe that it was because I finally let myself chill out that I actually got pregnant

I never got a positive until days after my expected period, usually at least 3 days after.

Me and my SO have been trying for a year, I wanted it so bad my body would trick itself with pregnancy symptoms around the time my period was coming. I would test and test and nothing. So I just stopped testing all together until this past September, I started feeling the symptoms again so I decided to test the day after my missed period and got a positive. My doctor always tell me the best way to get pregnant is to stop trying. Good luck ❤️
