Help, not sure whats goin on..

So i have been ttc for a year with endometriosis.. So this month i was 4 days late.. After 4 days i had some brown discharge when i wiped then day 5 lite spotting, reddish/pinkish.. That lasted about a day and a half.. No usual pms symptoms.. On day 3 i took a test, negative!!! Ugh, what is goin on? Also my cervix is very high and soft, kinda feels swollen.. Sorry if tmi
