Mommy problems

My husband and I are TTC for 4 months now. We have not told anyone yet, we would like it to be a surprise. We are both 27 yrs old, have been together for 6 years and married for 8 months. My mother has made it clear ( in comments on Facebook and in conversations ) that we should wait a while before we have children. 'A while' to her means a few years. Does anyone else have or has had this problem? I'm honestly afraid to tell my mother when I do become pregnant because I feel that she will not be happy for us or will pretend to be happy. If anyone could share stories or advice about a similar experience, please do! I want my mom to be as happy as we are going to be!
