Hey. My baby is 9 days old. Yesterday he had went out for his first week check up at the dr. The whole day I notice no BM. Now today he still hasn't pooped. Is this normal? He hasn't shown any unusual behavior. Since he was born, he pooped right after he eat. Now there is no BM. Is this normal???

Depends on if your baby is breast or formula feeding. If formula feeding your baby may be lactose intolerant. If breast feeding try rubbing his/her stomach in a circular motion. My daughter had a lot of constipation when I switched her to formula. She had to start drinking soy formula. Make sure you take him/her to the pediatrician and let his/her pediatrician know about the constipation.

My daughter is EBF and she pooped everytime I fed her..now she goes once every two days.. She is two months now..
