grouchy husband rant!

So I planned a co-ed, for all our family/friends, super casual chill little baby shower for our 2nd baby together. Everything's going good & ive gotten things ready for tomorrow, as my husband mentions something about thinking that this time around I wouldn't have made him be part of the shower. I couldn't help but get my feelings hurt about this & idk if I was wrong for that or not. I only planned this shower for a reason to have a fun little get together, so why is it a chore for him? I haven't asked him to help with anything whatsoever, so what's so bad about showing up to hang out with friends and family? I didn't snap at him over his comment, I just kinda laughed it off & went about my business. I just don't get it, idk if I have a right to be upset or not. What do you ladies think?
