do you wake up your baby to change their diaper ?

What if they sleep for 4-5hrs at night? Do you still wake them up to change?

I'm asleep when he's asleep, but if he wakes up to nurse (usually between 3-4 hours at night - on a good night), I'll change him in between boobs. If he's only peed I may let it slide til his next feeding, but I definitely always change poopy diapers as soon as I notice it.

If my baby is sleeping 4-5 hours at night, so am I! lol.. I honestly sleep until baby wakes me up. So no, I don't.. She hasn't slept longer than 4 hours though

Not unless she pooped...but if she is close to the 5 hr mark then I def wake her up so she can eat :) she only sleeps those long stretches at night though

Only if I can smell and tell it's poopy! I always load her up on diaper rash cream so she's protected at night but it's not wet or dirty I don't change it and it helps her to fall right back asleep after eating!

Only if I'm 1000000% sure. LO's farts sound a loooooot like poops. I've been wrong before & felt sooooo guilty waking him up & having him scream at me for pulling off his perfectly clean diaper lol :)

No but my son stillw ales every two-3 hours at night to eat soni change him every feeding. He is 5 weeks ebf. He eats almost every 1.5-2 hours during the day

If he's pooped I will wake him.. but normally he wakes up during a poop anyway. But if it's just pee I'll normally wait because I change him when he wakes to eat at night anyway. During the day I'll usually change him after about a 3-4 hour stretch of sleeping because I try to keep him awake more during the day rather than at night.

Same as the previous posters. If she's pooped I'll wake her up. I try to keep her asleep as possible by warming the wipes etc.

My little one will wake up crying if she's pooped, but if she's just peeing during the stretch I leave her be.
