does anyone take Xanax for anxiety?

Do you have any weird side effects when you take it? My skin has weird reactions around my cuticles and my chin. 
Just wondering what everyone else's experiences are with taking it

Do not take if pregnant.causes birth defects.And seizures in babies.My cousin took a benzo while pregnant ..Her daughter was born with epilepsy.Her daughter went through horrible withdrawals.
Id stop taking that drug but with help from a doctor.Benzos are a nightmare.Most docs dont prescribe no more.Fast acting and highly addictive.Eventually docs put you on clonpins ..longer acting less addicting..I know you think wow..i ve never felt so good and thats its better then anxiety and panic attacks..but give it a few months.Your body gets immune to it..needs higher doses especially with xanax.clonopins are way safer but still a benzo..google benzo withdrawal.Im a strong woman never been addicted to anything.Still never abused drugs ..not even xanax.took one a day to help after i found my brother beaten to death in home.I took for one month..maybe 2.So it dont take much to go through a withdrawal..good luck.

I took Xanax for a year. .25 daily. It literally ruined my life. I thought i had anxiety before!! Yeah right!! That stuff is the worst ever and is not worth it! I had severe anxiety when trying to get off of it and withdrawals. You think you have wierd side effects now, wait till you been on it a while and then try to get off of it. Not trying to scare you but it is so not worth your sanity. I cant get right to this day. Right now i am on clonazepam to ease withdrawals from the Xanax. I know that is a benzo as well but the effects last longer.

I get excessive discharge! Literally like my period but with discharge... I asked my gyno and she said you can never tell the side effects they're off  and different for everyone. ❤️(: hope it gets better
