36 years old, just shy of 37

36 years old, just shy of 37. No children. We have been TTC for a year. I had a MC in April 2016. Did our first IUI with trigger shot on 11/4. After being let down so much, I didn't expect results and was planning for IVF next year. Period was a few days late and I just tested today and got a BFP! I'll go in for blood test on Monday. We are so blessed and praying for a healthy pregnancy.

Please don't give up everyone. Stay strong in your faith and keep pushing. You never know when the day will come. Baby dust to all!

A few other things:

I did an HSG a week prior to IUI. They say as horrible as they are, HSGs often lead to pregnancies.

My HSG and all other hormone tests were healthy. My husband's sperm had low motility.

Didn't experience any unusual symptoms during 2WW. I had cramps in my lower left back. I usually cramp through out my back. Assumed it was AF as usual.

I was sick when I went for IUI. I also experienced vivid dreams during 2WW. I only mention because I've heard those symptoms from others.
