If you have the money or someone wants to get it for you then of course. But if it's going to be a huge splurge for you then no. You can only use them for a few months and some babies dont like swingsm My daughter hated her swing after the first week.

We bought one and my daughter hated it so so much. So, it's just sitting in my basement until this next baby comes. Hopefully he likes it! Turns out, my daughter was just more interested in a regular swing.

I don't personally own one. However, I was convinced I wanted one because they seemed so neat! After reading reviews and other mommies' opinions, I decided not to buy one. According to reviews, they're a pain in the ass and a waste of money 🙄

I LOVED the one we had for my daughter. We will be getting another one this time around. Also, check Facebook & other sites for used ones. I see TONS of them that look brand new for way cheaper. You can easily wash the fabric parts or just replace them.

I wouldn't call it essential but I have heard amazing things. So I say if you can get a good deal on one, might not be a bad idea

I put one on my registry and if we don't get it at our shower tomorrow then I will ask for it for Christmas from one of my parents! (Yes I am 26 and we still get "one big present" for Christmas lol)
