Am I the only one insecure about the color of my labia?

My skin is a medium color I guess, I'll say sort of tan and my inner labia, bottom of the outter, also around my butthole is so dark in color. Like it doesn't match my skin at all and it always makes me so self conscious when my bf and I do anything sexual. Is this normal.. Is there a healthy way to change this? I'm really hygienic and it's been this color from what I remember when I actually started exploring down there in my mid teen years. Im pretty sure it was not always this color though.
