patch side effects

I've been on the patch for almost 3 months now. I've had nausea nearly every day since I've been on the patch. The info about the patch says it side effects could last from 2-3 months. Have any of you been on the patch and had side effects? If so, did the side effects go away? I'm hesitant to go back on my patch this Friday because of the nausea, but I need to be on a birth control.
